Hand Painted Kitchens in Kent
The home of hand painted kitchens & furniture in Kent
I have hand painted kitchens and furniture in Kent & East Sussex (also painting & decorating) for 41 years now.
While painting clients hand painted kitchens, furniture, home or office etc., I want my clients to have the best experience. “I want you to be happy with my work before I leave.”
All of my hand painted kitchens and furniture are done in the traditional way of brush work. Why? Because 90% of my clients prefer the traditional way as opposed to a factory looking spray finish.
Trust me, it is still a high quality finish. I have had many clients actually ask if I did actually brush the paint on!
Let me show you a few of the painted kitchens I have worked on…
Preparation is Decoration
That statement was drummed into my earhole from day one. It still rings there today!
Thorough preparation is always carried from the moment I cross the threshold of your home, right through until I put the final coat of colour on and replacing the handles when the area is dry.
I like to have pride in my work. That is the reason why I only choose the best paints and tools to give me a painted kitchen I am proud to have completed and, you a painted kitchen to be proud to show off.
Best Kitchen Colours using the Best Kitchen Paints
That is never an easy thing to decide on. A lot can depend on light, or lack of, which is flowing into the room. Existing colour of the walls in the room can also affect the kitchen colour choice.
I can offer you many, many colour options to give you an idea of a colour to paint your kitchen with.
Sample paint colours can also be arranged for you should you need to view any.
Only the best paints are used for the most hard wearing finish and look.
Those being: Benjamin Moore, Mylands of London, Tikkurila and Little Greene.
I have not had any complaints when using these paints.
Can I paint my existing kitchen units and doors?
The great majority of kitchen units and doors in peoples kitchens can be brought back to life if they are looking tired or dated. But I must add, there needs to be extensive preparation work for it to be successful and it is not for the faint hearted.
The units can be made up from different materials ranging from MDF, laminates/melamine, wooden, foil wrapped etc.
Most of the materials that kitchen cabinetry is made from can be hand painted to bring the hub of your home back to life again.
Best of all, you don’t need to spend a fortune on a complete new kitchen remodel to give your kitchen that wow factor once again.
Is it costly to paint a kitchen?
Repainting the kitchen units and doors isn’t cheap, but when you realise the cost of the repaint over the cost of a complete new kitchen, then a professional repaint will be a small price to pay for a completley new and fresh look.
Your friends may think you’ve splashed out on a new kitchen anyway!
What sounds more appealing? Repainting your classy but tired kitchen with a brand new look using my quality virtually dust free painting service for a short period.
Or, call in the kitchen remodel company and spend weeks to’ing and fro’ing with new designs.
Then having your old kitchen ripped out and being without a sink, dishwasher, cooker etc for weeks plus having a multitude of trades trapesing through your home.
If you are desperate for a small re-jig with certain aspects of the kitchen, i.e. moving a unit, making a new addition etc. Let me know. I can arrange for this to be looked at and hopefully make an even better kitchen for you.
Hand painted furniture is another thing I always enjoy working on.
