Hand Painted Kitchen in Kent
Hand painted kitchen in East Farleigh, Maidstone, Kent.
Originally, I was only down to paint the units for this hand painted kitchen, but the client asked me to carry out the decorating the ceiling and walls too, which was nice.
The paint brand used for the decorating was Benjamin Moore.
Ceiling: BM Ceiling Paint in Chantilly Lace. A rather nice dark green.
Walls: BM Regal Select Matte in Chantilly Lace.
Onto the units.
All of the units were thoroughly cleaned down with my favourite cleaners for kitchens and furniture. Then thoroughly abraded by mechanical dustless sanding and hooked up to a shop vac to minimise the dust in the area, which is good for me and good for you the home owner.
After the cleaning, the adhesion primer was applied. This was Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Multi-purpose Latex Primer (sadly no longer available). I had it tinted to match the finish colour.
The finish colour is Caldwell Green (HC-124) and is in Benjamin Moore’s Scuff-X eggshell.
The client was very pleased with the finish and was even more delighted that it “looked like a new kitchen!”
I’d also saved them a lot of money as they were contemplating on purchasing a new kitchen.
I think you will agree. The kitchen cabinets look really nice in the green of Caldwell Green!
